California Dream Network Statewide Retreat 2022

The California Dream Network (CDN) invites you to the 16th Annual CDN Statewide Retreat with the objective to empower undocumented/ AB 540/ DACA college students and young workers throughout the state of California. This retreat is meant as a space for participants to embrace their immigrant stories and collectively strategize how we can continue the fight for legalization, by recognizing their individual power beyond their immigration status. Participants will learn about current immigration matters and what resources and opportunities are available for their academic and career development. Most importantly, we hope to incorporate and uplift the intersectionality of other issues impacting undocumented youth and how we can build momentum, strength, and sustainability within the immigrant rights movement.

This retreat is open to anyone, regardless of immigration status, who wishes to learn more about immigration policy and how to get involved in the fight for legalization. This is a three day retreat starting Friday as mainly travel day and ending Sunday with half program- half travel day back. Participants must attend all three days. Our organization will cover costs for transportation, lodging, and food.
